🔬 Our Process
When tissue is brought to us in the lab, our trained Mohs histotechnicians follow a detailed process:
Grossing – Tissue is scored, inked, and mapped
Embedding – Proper orientation and freeze embedding
Sectioning – Thin, clean cuts using cryostat technique
Staining – H&E or Toluidine Blue staining as needed
Slide Prep – Slides are cover-slipped, labeled, and ready for reading
